Mount Kilimanjaro packing list, a key requirement for a successful summit is to be properly equipped. Ensure that you are well equipped – print the Mount Kilimanjaro packing list below and mark it off, it will be an essential part of your preparation for the hike. Please remember that the weight limit for your duffel bag is 15Kg (32lbs). Your duffel bag will be carried by the porters from camp to camp. While your sleeping bag will contribute to the 15 kg limit, other items such as the sleeping mat and tents will not be part of the 15kg weight limit.

The hotel in Moshi town does have luggage storage facilities. We recommend bring an extra suit case that you can leave at the hotel for the duration of the hike. You can then store clean clothes etc for the duration of the hike. Please feel free to contact us should you have any further questions regarding the packing list. We also provide gear rental for the gear and clothing need for a hike up mountain. Renting some of the gear and clothing instead of buying will make your hike more cost effective. Please click on the Gear Rental price list for more prices and info.

Please note: This Mount Kilimanjaro packing list is only a guideline. A complete checklist will be send to you once you booked your hike with us.
