Mt Kilimanjaro gear rental rates

As part of all our Mt Kilimanjaro packages (except the Marangu route) will tents, sleeping mats, camp chairs, camp table, mess tent, cutlery for meals, kitchen tent, cooking utensils, gas stoves and staff tents be supplied.

All hikers are supposed to bring their own sleeping bags, jackets, boots etc as per our final Kilimanjaro checklist. It is possible to hire Kilimanjaro rental equipment including some of the items such as sleeping bags, hiking poles etc while hiking Mount Kilimanjaro. We strongly recommend to purchase personal items such as hiking boots, thermal underwear etc and not rent.

Please note Kilimanjaro gear availability is limited, we recommend booking well in advance to ensure availability. If an item is required that is not on the Kilimanjaro gear rental list, please let us know and we can try to arrange it.

Rental terms and conditions applicable in Tanzania:

·        All Mt Kilimanjaro equipment rental is subject to availability. Specific sizes cannot be guaranteed. To avoid disappointment we strongly recommended that all your Kilimanjaro rental equipment is booked well in advance of your planned Mount Kilimanjaro hike.

·         Once reservations are made for rental gear, it cannot be cancelled upon arrival.

·         All gear rental is non-refundable, and should be checked before departure. Clients will be liable for any damage made to the gear rental.

·         Payment for gear in cash Tsh, US $ or Euro only – no credit card or travellers check payments.
