Any of our Kilimanjaro hiking packages can be tailored as per your requirements by adding additional Kilimanjaro upgrade benefits (subject to additional cost) to your Kilimanjaro expedition. All the Kilimanjaro comfort upgrades and Kilimanjaro services required must be reserved in advance.

Insulated Helinox foldable bed
All our Kilimanjaro climbing packages include a basic sleeping matrass. Increase your comfort on your Kilimanjaro trekking experience by upgrading to a folding bed. The bed is rated to R5 (-10 degrees Celsius), is 190cm /75inches long and 69cm / 27 inches wide. (not allowed on the Marangu route).

Private single tent
All our 2 or more group size Kilimanjaro climbing packages include tent designed to sleep 2 persons comfortably. If you want some privacy and more space for your Kilimanjaro trekking experience, you can choose to have a single tent (not allowed on the Marangu route).

Kilimanjaro Portable toilet
Kilimanjaro public toilets are available at all campsites. Most Kilimanjaro public toilets are basic long drop style toilets and their cleanliness leave much to be desired. We strongly recommend adding a Kilimanjaro portable toilet for your Kilimanjaro expedition. Maximum 5 persons per toilet (not allowed on the Marangu route).

Comfort 4″ inflatable mattress
Our normal Kilimanjaro climbing packages include a 1″ standard sleeping mattress. Upgrade to a comfortable 10cm thick inflatable mattress for the entire Kilimanjaro trek (not available on the Marangu route as mattress is supplied)US $ 50 per person for the entire Kilimanjaro expedition
Personal luggage porter
All our Kilimanjaro hiking packages include 1 porter to carry your duffel bag (maximum weight 15kg / 32 lbs) from one camp to the next camp. If you want to add additional luggage for the Kilimanjaro expedition, can you rent an additional porter to carry an additional maximum 15kg / 32 lbs. This porter will not hike with you during the Kilimanjaro summit attempt.US $ 20 per porter per day
Personal assistance porter
All our hikers carry their own daypack, while hiking from camp to camp. It is possible to rent a personal assistance porter that will assist you and carry your daypack for the entire Kilimanjaro trek, including the Kilimanjaro summit attempt. The porter may carry up 1 bag up to 10kg / 22lbs.US $ 25 per porter per day
Personal private assistance guide
It is possible to rent a personal private assistant for the entire Kilimanjaro trek, including the Kilimanjaro summit attempt.US $ 35 per guide per day
Hotel upgrade
We use the Chanya Lodge or similar in Moshi town for our Kilimanjaro hiking packages. It is possible to upgrade to a higher quality hotel on request.Please contact us for more information and rates.
Start / finish your Kilimanjaro expedition from Arusha town
We start / finish all our Kilimanjaro climbing packages from Moshi town, the Kilimanjaro “capital”. It is possible to start / finish your Kilimanjaro expedition from Arusha town instead. Arusha town is the safari “capital” since it is located closer to the safari parks, offer more hotels, restaurants, shops and is located at approximately 1 350m altitude compared to Moshi town’s 900m altitude. However Arusha town is located further away from Mt Kilimanjaro.Please contact us for more information and rates.
